- "I am the president of the Orange County Space Society and have been interested in space exploration and science since I was very young, growing up during the Apollo race to the Moon. Getting kids interested in space is key to all of our futures."
- What interests you about science?
- "One of my favorite quotes is from Carl Sagan where he says that "Science is a candle in the dark." I absolutely agree with this philosphy and wish that more people would adopt it in their everyday lives instead of basing their beliefs on things like mysticism or astrology."
- How did you hear about The Science Café?
- "From a good friend and fellow member of the Orange County Space Society, Dave Snead."
- Why did you join The Science Café?
- "To keep abreast of, and participate in, the discussion about science and space exploration."
