Details
We meet the 3rd Sunday of each month, 1:30 - 3:30.
Here is a suggested topic for our February 17 meeting: "What is some of the most important current research in science, social science, or technology, and what do you think should be some of the priorities"?
Between Meetups, you can make comments and suggestions for topics at upcoming meetings, by using the Message section of the Art & Science page - click on the upper left of the page where it says "Messages".)
Also, at meetings, feel free to bring an example of a favorite book, article, science llustration, nature photograph, etc. - or you may have suggestions for some upcoming activities, such as going to a museum, movie, or lecture as a group. New members might want to tell a bit about their interests.
Topics at Meetups can include any aspect of natural science, social science, science & society, technology, history of science, philosophy of science, or the relation of science and art (such as nature photography, science fiction, science illustration, etc.)
